Workman and Services Register

Mustard Seed House requires ongoing maintenance and upgrading of its property and more often than not at every committee meeting we have there is planned work discussed on the agenda.  The conversation is usually preceded by 'Do you know someone who can do this....?'
If you couple this with the fact that most of our members and people they know all end up at some point having a similar conversation with friends and family there is always someone looking for a workman to do something for them.

It occurred to the Mustard Seed Group that it would be a good idea to have a list of workmen that they can refer for just such needs as they arise.  That is how the idea to collate a register of workmen and their services came about.

Apart from the obvious benefit to us in having such a list available for enquiries and referrals to those who ask us we also realised that we could make it if real benefit for those who chose to be on our register.  For instance we will be running a Free advertising service in our electronic publications (ebook section of the main menu) that people who visit our website will download for other reasons.  Once people know we have a list of people who have done work for us and others we know, human nature being what it is they will come to us for a referral as we will more than likely have had work done for us or someone we know and can therefore provide good testimonial to others.

As well as work, if you have your own business and sell locally produced goods we can also promote your services eventually featuring them on our shop area of the site.

How do we benefit, well; apart from having a very good list of local services we would be less than truthful if we didn't say that we hoped you would consider making the occasional small donation to our charity to help us help others.  So in the spirit of 'mutual beneficiality' why don't you register with us today!
